In addition to adjusting the weighting of scores for sub-examination subjects and including physical education to improve student health, the Education Bureau launched the "Active Campus Vibrant Life" program in the 2021/22 school year. By organizing diversified student activities and producing different learning and teaching resources, it continues to support schools in promoting all-round sports activities and creating a more ideal campus sports atmosphere. In addition, the Education Bureau issued Circular No. 5/2024 on "Developing Active and Healthy Lifestyles through Promoting Physical Activities" to all primary and secondary schools in Hong Kong in February 2024, reminding schools to provide students with opportunities to participate in adequate physical activities inside and outside the classroom, and to provide schools with strategies and specific recommended measures, as well as relevant learning and teaching resources and support measures, so that principals can formulate strategies based on the contents of the circular to help students increase the amount of physical activity, develop active and healthy lifestyles, and promote physical and mental health.

The driving force has always been based on the fundamental concept of "movement", breaking the norms of reality and providing simulated life training experience for people of different ages, sectors or abilities. We understand that it is important for students to have a healthy body, especially those who are overweight due to resistance to sweating. How to make students develop good habits of exercising every day is the biggest challenge facing educators!
In order to cultivate students' interest in doing sports, our self-developed VR virtual sports system SilverMOVE can be used with different sports equipment to encourage students to sweat as much as possible and exercise to strengthen their bodies. Teachers can also learn about students’ sports status from SilverMOVE’s game records to adjust classroom training. The school has introduced SilverMOVE, a device that monitors exercise intensity, which can be combined with the sports hall to reflect the intensity of their actual exercise in the world of video games in real time. Let students ride bicycles to compete with each other and exercise. At the same time, students can also enjoy the fun of sports and become more involved in it.
Different from ordinary video games, SilverMOVE can be used with exercise equipment such as bicycles, treadmills or dumbbells to gradually enhance physical fitness by adjusting the resistance and difficulty. Students can participate in competitions at the same time, which is more motivational and exciting than doing sports alone. In addition, the SilverMOVE set up indoors allows students to enjoy exercise regardless of the weather and develop good exercise habits.
In order to support schools in creating a more ideal campus sports atmosphere and promote "MVPA60" to coordinate with the development of physical education courses, the Education Bureau will provide a one-off subsidy of $150, 000 to each public sector school and DSS school in the 2023/24 school year. Schools can use this subsidy to purchase the VR virtual sports system SilverMOVE on or before the 2026/27 school year, allowing students to participate in sports in a virtual environment and maintain physical fitness. We will provide continuous scene updates, software and hardware maintenance and technical support services for the purchased SilverMOVE.
